An idea that I had for the sense Sight that provides an interesting experience is looking through the eyes of an animal. Examples of the ways animals see is included in the image below, which describes how the animals work also.
This could be created through a box that by applying different lenses to a box you look through, you can see out at a person standing behind a line. The lens will change how you see the person/object, making it appear as if you're seeing it the way an animal would.
An important issue with this idea is the difficulty in making the lenses to appear accurate and similar to how scientists believe animals would see. Getting small hexagonal see-through pieces that distort the vision to make it appear as if a fly or bee was looking would be complicated and fiddley, but have a good effect.
