DSDN112 - The mold



So i'm making a mold from a chunk of MDF that was lying around to shape the glass into cute little cubes. The final product of the the mold looks like this..

This won't work at all. Its far too deep and the cubes are so small they'll be near impossible to get the cubes out of the mold, despite the large amount of baking paper.

So back to the drawing board, thinking of a new way that i can shape the glass into little cubes....

And a stroke of genius! While browsing the Warehouse for a pot to cook the glass in, i find these little green ice cube trays. What better to use than a plastic tray that is already in a rectangular cube shape? So using these trays to shape the glass instead will hopefully have a great outcome.. Hopefully...
